The 19th century castle has been extravagantly refurbished to an exceptionally high standard with marble stone floors throughout, nine luxury bathrooms, home cinema, wine cellar and a separate staff apartment.
As well as extensive sea views - including a perfect outlook from one of the bathrooms - it also covers 8,500 square metres of garden space.
For those who value space, a 19-bedroom château in Dordogne, France, is in fourth place on the most viewed list.
The 16th century castle has entertained French royalty throughout the centuries and boasts huge vaulted ceilings, landscaped parks, and has its own chapel.
At the bottom of the most viewed list is an Italian castello, which extends across 94,722 sq ft and is on the market for £14million.
It's not surprising that castles dominate the list
Lawrence Hall, from Zoopla
With an additional five hectares, Zoopla suggests it would suit someone looking to run a wedding venue or hotel.
The list also includes homes for those on a smaller budget, suggesting that people are window shopping for a mix of dream homes as well as overseas properties that they might be able to afford.
Cheaper properties include a three-bedroom townhouse in Texas, which has a large living area with high ceilings and an asking price of £334,961.
Lawrence Hall, spokesman for Zoopla, said: 'It's not surprising that castles have dominated the list due to the nation's enthusiasm for royal celebrations this year.
'This has left castles at the forefront of our minds, perhaps influencing many property searches when considering idyllic holiday home locations.
'Although some of them come with a hefty price-tag, they're very hard to beat when it comes to overall space and wow factor.'
